The Salvation Army of the Carolinas has advised us that there is currently one shelter open in the city of Wilmington; Hoggard Shelter, located at 4305 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington, NC. The shelter has electricity, food, and limited shower facilities; however, it is reported to be fairly crowded at this time. Our team is currently working with residents to assist with alternative relocations and special needs. If you or a neighbor is in need of housing or transportation assistance, please let our team in Wilmington know and they will assist in whatever way possible.
The American Red Cross and other local organizations will also be providing essential toiletry items at the communities beginning Thursday which will be located at the leasing offices.
