Michael Emery

As Area Service Manager, Michael’s role includes all responsibilities necessary for the execution of maintenance service management for a portfolio of communities, including service operations, employee recruitment, training and supervision, budget control, and project management.

Michael began his career in multifamily housing in 1989 and has extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of safety, OSHA compliance, EPA regulations, renovation and construction as related to multifamily housing and commercial properties. His past experience has included the direction of maintenance operations, property inspections, property acquisitions, major renovation projects, development, property repositioning, budget control, work scopes, hiring and training of maintenance staff.

Prior to joining Phillips Management Group in 2018, Michael served as a Regional Maintenance Manager over residential and commercial properties, after spending more than 26 years in progressive leadership roles, such as Assistant Service Manager, Service Manager, Area Service Manager, and Regional Maintenance Coordinator.

Michael’s professional credentials include EPA CFC, CPO, and he is a CFC Proctor. He is known for his exceptional time management skills and is a tremendous fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes.
